ACCORDING to regulars, it is said, the Weaver's Arms at Halliwell 'was t'best pub in Bowton, bar none'. The pub boasted a keen dominoes team, pictured here in January, 1950. The pub was better known as the Frozen Mop and had some of its regulars going there for more than half a century. It's own angling club was set up in 1918, and 32 years later some of the original members were still taking part.
