PARENTS have been banging on about it for years but research now shows that children who don't get a proper breakfast before school react to new information like 70-year-olds.
A bar of chocolate or a packet of crisps simply won't do -- it must be a proper breakfast.
The only way is to nip down to the supermarket for their favourite cereal to tempt them, and then not to give them any extra money for sweets.
If you want them to do well and develop properly, the mental and physical energy equation starts at the breakfast table.
