WANDERERS have handed a trial to Algerian international defender Mehdi Meniri.
The 25-year-old is available following French club Troyes' relegation and could win a deal if he impresses during a reserve team friendly with Birmingham this week.
He was a key figure for Troyes, and his loss to injury at the end of last season was a blow to the club.
