FARNWORTH Performing Arts Company formed a group called The Entertainers a couple of years ago. The group is comprised of a number of men, women, young and old - who perform at different venues.
They tailor programmes to suit the place and the occasion.
Sandra Blyth, a long-standing member of Farnworth Performing Arts, prepares a programme of well known songs and singalongs.
Often in the programme there is a humorous spot featuring their own Lancashire lassies -- Hilda Barton and Marjorie Brabin.
The group's spokeswoman says: "We do our very best to oblige and bring some pleasure and a smile to our audiences, so feel free to speak to us for any further information, bookings or queries you may have."
The Entertainers rehearse at Bolton Cricket Club using a portable keyboard.
But they would much prefer a piano.
If anyone wants to get rid of one or know of someone who may be able to help, contact the group's production Manager, Bob Cornwell on 01942 892 932.
