STAFF AND students at Bury Grammar School (Boys) are celebrating big successes in this year's GCSE results.
Overall 92.8 per cent of entries were graded A*, A, B or C. While James Forsyth, Lance Rane and William Webster distinguished themselves by scoring ten A* grades each.
At the school 86 fifth form boys made 755 subject entries. There were 101 Grades A*, 216 Grades A, 247 Grades B, 131 Grades C and 47 Grades D.
In addition 96 fourth form boys took French - and none of them scored below a C. There were 23 Grades A*, 38 Grades A, 24 Grades B and ten Grades C.
