A NEW fan database system has helped Bolton Wanderers to notch up record season ticket sales and bring in an extra £500,000.
Club commercial director Gareth Moores said that Wanderers had sold 19,000 season tickets, a 10 per cent increase on last season, as a result of a targeted mailshot. It was put together using information obtained through the TeamNotes database package.
Operated by Skelmersdale-based Strand Technology, the package pools databases on ticket sales, membership, retail sales, mail order and lotteries, allowing Wanderers to tailor their mailshots more effectively.
