EAGLEY kick off their West Lancashire League Premier Division season on Saturday with an attractive home fixture against Barnoldswick Town with a 3pm kick off.
Manager Pete Darby is confident his side can give a much better account of themselves in the league this season following their excellent end of season run-in and winning of the league's Richardson Cup in their last campaign.
Confidence is high at the club following two excellent pre-season victories over Elton Vale and a strong Atherton Collieries side.
Eagley Res travel to Barnoldswick on Saturday with a 3pm kick off.
