A MAN is still fighting for his life in hospital after an alleged attack in Great Lever.
John Paul O'Brien, aged 35 from Kearsley, remains on a life support machine in an intensive care unit at the Royal Preston Hospital. Police say his condition is critical.
Officers were called to Duncombe Road in Great Lever at 8.50am on Thursday, May 15 after receiving reports that a man had been found with serious head injuries.
Simon Peter McDonnell, aged 34 and Leanne Amanda Stewart, aged 25, both of Duncombe Road, Great Lever are facing attempted murder charges in relation to the alleged attack.
