AN accidental fall led to the death of a Bolton grandfather, an inquest heard.
Albert Lob, aged 93, fell at his flat in Kingthorpe Gardens, Great Lever, early on March 24. He used an internal buzzer to alert wardens, who found him on the floor.
Mr Lob was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital and was due to have surgery on a fracture two days later, but became ill with pneumonia. He died on April 1.
Bolton coroner Jennifer Leeming recorded a verdict of accidental death.
