FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue an embarrassed teenager from a rooftop in Egerton Park last night.
The 16-year-old had climbed on to the roof of a boarded up house with some friends for a laugh, but when it came to jumping off he became scared.
Firefighters provided the embarrassed boy with a ladder to climb down, while his friends looked on from the ground in amusement.
A fire spokesman said: "He was a bit embarrassed and his mates were taking the mickey, but no one was hurt."
