Tea at Three is the title of the latest fundraising effort for the hospice movement and Bolton Hospice wants people to come up with unusual places to take their afternoon cuppa.

Stefanie and Franscesa, who are Year 7 pupils at Canon Slade School, are urging others to also hold a tea party as part of the hospice campaign which is taking place throughout June.

And to show just what they had in mind themselves, the girls invited Bolton Hospice fundraising administrator Sarah Wiggins around for a cuppa in their tree house up a sycamore at Francesca's home in Carlton Road, Bolton.

The girls used a yellow teaset because hospice campaign organisers have suggested that colour be adopted to represent sunshine. The holders of the tea party judged to have been held in the most unusual venue will win a year's supply of teabags -- that is 1,095 bags.

A Yellow Summer Gala will be held at Bolton Hospice on Saturday, June 14, from 11am-4pm and visitors are asked to wear yellow on the day -- or they will face a fine!

The fun continues with the Bolton Hospice Yellow Fun Day in the Town Hall Square on Saturday, June 21, from 10am to 2pm when the colour yellow will dominate and visitors can dedicate a yellow ribbon to someone special.

For each donation received for a dedication, a yellow ribbon will adorn a tree in the grounds of the hospice and a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to the donor that will include the name of their special someone.
