GOOD Service to Guiding Awards were presented to two women who have given many years service to the movement.
Janet Wood from Bury South Division, who has held many guiding positions since 1954, and Phyllis Moss the Lancashire Border County Badge Secretary who before retirement was a Brownie Guider with St Margaret's, both received their awards from the County Commissioner Joyce Wiggins at the Lancashire Border County annual meeting.
Anne Howarth, Division Commissioner Tonge Division, and Brenda Wright Division Commissioner for Winter Hill Division, received their Long Service Award at the meeting. TYhe have each served 40 years.
