I was so sad when I heard of the death of poor Gus. That lovely horse didn't stand a chance. To have burning petrol poured over him was unbelievable. If the law doesn't change other animals will suffer these acts of cruelty.
My thoughts go out to the owners and family of dear Gus. He isn't suffering now but it should never have happened.
