I FIND it quite sickening the way the press has focused on the demise of West Ham and painted us as the 'bad guys' for staying up.

Yes, it is sad for any team to go down but the media coverage has been very biased towards West Ham.

Even the TV Premiership commentators were saying that Bolton is an 'unfashionable' team and the FA decided to suspend Laville while waiting till the end of the season to discipline the West Ham players after the debacle at the Reebok.

Even in the broadsheets, our foreign players have been described as 'foreign mercenaries'. What they overlook is that they have brought an exciting style of football to the Reebok and the most success we have had in years.

So I would say to the rest of the press, please could we have some objective reporting for a change?
