I HAVE just bought a copy of the Bolton Evening News dated May 19 and felt I must write to vent my anger at, what I can only describe, as a ridiculous increase in my season ticket price.
After supporting Bolton Wanderers since 1975, and having been a season ticket holder for the last few seasons though thick and thin, I am hugely disappointed at finding out that I will have to fork out an extra £45 for the privilege next season.
To be honest, I was expecting an increase of about £20 which I would describe as reasonable but a £45 increase. If my memory serves me correctly then, in the last two years, they have increased by £85.
It just goes to show that it is true that a normal fan is being priced out of the game which wouldn't be half what it is without them.
