THREE thousands miles away in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Bolton Wanderers' final game of the season was eagerly anticipated.
The Sky Sports network in Canada showed the big match on a four-hour time delay.
It was just a matter of staying away from the internet, the radio and television stations, while we prepared for the expected cliffhanger.
We felt like we were hiding from the world, keeping out of touch with all the modern paraphernalia of the 21st century.
As the game started, we remained on the edge of our seats for the full 90 minutes.
At the final whistle, the bubbly was uncorked and photos taken in front of the telly.
To Sam and the team, a great victory and all the best. You did us proud.
