THE Atlantis nightclub has teamed up with The Teenage Cancer Trust to support the Charity's 3rd Bandanna campaign to help raise funds for a dedicated cancer unit for young people.

Starting this Bank Holiday weekend Atlantis will be raising funds and selling bandannas for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The club is asking its customers and local people to be a part of the campaign and show their support.

Over the next few months, an array of fund-raising activities will take place at the venue offering everyone a chance to get involved.

The bandannas will be available from the club at any time costing £5 -- £2 of which goes directly to the Trust.

Teenage Cancer Trust focuses on the needs of UK teenagers and young adults with cancer, leukaemia, Hodgkin's and related diseases.

Statistics show that one in 330 boys and one in 420 girls develop cancer before the age of 21. The first Teenage Cancer Trust unit was built in 1990 and the charity has been fund-raising ever since in an effort to build more.

The units are vibrant, colourful places providing the best in medical care in a "teen-friendly" environment.

More information on the campaign and how to support Teenage Cancer Trust locally is available by calling Atlantis on 01204 529922.
