SPECIAL Needs co-ordinators from schools in Bolton attended a two day exhibition at the Reebok stadium.
The SpecialneedsIT technology exhibition showcased the latest technological developments and ideas in special needs teaching.
The event attracted hundreds of special needs teachers and support workers from Bolton and many other towns in the North-west. Organisers said that children with special needs are increasingly being educated in mainstream classes, but many teachers are not equipped with the training or resources they need.
Exhibitors from as far away as America demonstrated the latest computer and communication aids and other technologies that can engage people in learning.
