THE Cunard Line -- one of the most famous names in Merseyside maritime history -- is to return to Liverpool. The line is to restart ocean liner stopovers at a new multi-million pound landing stage which is planned for Pier Head.
Liverpool Council is to apply for European funding to provide finance for the scheme.
