THE Box-Cup, when British boxers will take on opponents from Denmark and Cyprus will be staged at Bolton Lads and Girls Club at the weekend.
The event promises to be a feast of amateur boxing and its staging in Bolton is a coup for the local club.
The two-day competition starts at 9am on Saturday with a parade of the participating clubs before the boxing action gets under way,
That is likely to last until 6pm when the competitors for Sunday's finals will be decided.
Admission prices are £15 per adult, £7.50 for under 12s on both days.
