RESIDENTS are rattling their pots and pans in a new Cooking for Fun project.
Parents in the Sure Start Shakerley and Tyldesley areas are getting together to learn different cooking techniques and how to eat healthier in the he 12 week long course. The group meets every Thursday and are enjoying the project. Group member Valerie Stones said: "We learn a lot that we would not attempt at home, like what spices to use,. We have a laugh as well." Anyone in the sure Start area including Hindsford and Astley who want to join the next course should contact Lisa Morris on 07789 805758.
