MEMBERS of Halliwell Community Food Plot are offering free courses on successful organic gardening.
The first course, Basic Organic Vegetable Growing, is on Thursdays from April 24 to June 12, and will offer advice on healthy eating, seed-raising, making compost, weeds, pests and diseases, and garden wildlife.
Anyone is welcome and the course runs at St Joseph's School Community Room, Shepherds Cross Street, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
