WITH Britney Spears' mind on her love life, her songwriters can turn to new projects.
And among those benefiting from Britney's career lull is budding singer Samantha Jayne. The 17-year-old from Halliwell has been to Nottingham to see Jay Black, one of the co-writers on Britney's Slave 4 U.
Black, who recently moved from New York to Britain, has taken Samantha under his wing and will be sending some pop tunes her way.
