I KNOW no more details about this picture than that it was a trip to Southport in 1950 by members and children from the Tonge Moor Labour Club, Bolton. Well, at least they did not have to bother about the tide coming in . . . although these days it seems to come in much further than I remember it doing so a few decades ago.
