WANDERERS have no fears about flying into a potential war zone when they jet off to Dubai on Sunday for six days of warm weather training.
Full-back Anthony Barness made light of suggestions that the threat of war in the Gulf could put the players at risk.
"A few of the lads have been worried," he said, tongue in cheek. "We just hope we haven't been booked on a cheap deal!
"After the 'fridge' in Poland pre-season, which wasn't particularly nice, we'll appreciate the sunny climate."
