MY car broke down as I was turning right off Topp Way into Higher Bridge Street during early morning traffic on the way to work.
I was totally stuck, no male drivers came to my aid. Then a woman walking by came to the rescue.
She pushed the car, with me at the wheel, across the busy junction and around the corner to safety.
She probably made herself late for work, but did it all with a smile and no thought of reward. Just to say "thank you" -- you saved the day, and restored my faith in human nature.
