FORMER Lancashire cricketer Alan Bolton has died, aged 63,
Alan made 40 appearances for the county between 1957 and 1961, hitting just over 1, 200 runs.
Born in Darwen, he also played for Bolton Association side Edgworth after stepping down from the county scene in the middle 60s.
