CLOSED-circuit television is to be fitted in taxis after a driver was killed by a passenger on Saturday.
Israr Hussain, aged 42, was stabbed in the neck -- the latest in a series of attacks on Oldham's taxi drivers.
CCTV is to be put in taxis after a meeting of police, council and taxi firms and drivers.
Mayor of Oldham Riaz Ahmad said: "Oldham Council, police and drivers are going to do their utmost to ensure safety is improved."
