POLICE on Merseyside have launched an investigation after the body of an elderly man was pulled from Southport's Marine Lake.
A member of the public spotted the body. It is believed the man may be local and aged in his 70s.
Police said although there were no signs of physical injury, the death is still being treated as suspicious.
