PARISH priest Father Arthur Mulcahy has retired from St Ambrose Barlow RC Church, Astley.
Father Mulcahy, aged 75, held his final mass there last Saturday -- 10 years to the day since he began his ministry there.
During his time at St Ambrose, the parish hall was built, an outdoor cross monument was erected as part of his Millennium project and the church was refurbished.
