Off on a picnic to Blackpool . . . these girls from the Swan Lane Mill, Bolton, in 1964 seemed intent on having a good time.
The picture was sent to me by Mr Charles Sharp, of Fairacres, Harwood, who tells me that his wife Elizabeth (Bet) is on the left of the front row, kneeling.
