IN reply to a letter regarding fireworks, our opinion is that fireworks should be sold only for organised displays and banned from sale at corner shops and newsagents.
As I sit here writing this, they are going off around us at 9am. This has been going on since the beginning of September. It is obvious they are not for pleasure, but just to annoy people.
All the signatures and all that was said last year was for nothing, so it looks like the only answer is -- BAN.
