FANS of buses and steam trains of the past are invited to another of the popular Old Transport Slide Shows run by the Bolton Bus Group.
The event is being held in the St Augustine's Church Crypt, Thicketford Road, Tonge Moor, Bolton, on Monday, October 21, starting at 7.30pm.
It will feature most of the northern municipal bus fleets, plus lots of slides showing the last days of the steam era, 1967-68 in and around the Bolton area. The admission price of £2.50 will include a hot supper and all the proceeds will go towards the continuing work that the Group is doing restoring several old Bolton Corporation buses.
