THE late designer Gianni Versace's name is synonymous with glamour and celebs turned out in force for a retrospective of his work in London this week.
Stars like Rachel Hunter, Patsy Kensit and Madonna attended the event, with several wearing their own Versace gowns. Anna Friel (pictured) wore hers. But she didn't do the famous label many favours in what looked like a short, sequinned mop cap that was masquerading as a dress.
My own philosophy is simple: if you're paying thousands for a frock, you might as well get the value in the material.
