FORMER Bolton Wanderers star Frank Worthington is to face trial accused of driving offences.
Worthington, aged 53, of New Hey Road, Huddersfield, was accused at Rochdale Magistrates Court of driving without due care and attention on the M62 at Rochdale, failing to stop after an accident involving two other cars and failing to report the accident to the police.
Worthington was not in court but through his legal representatives he indicated that he would be pleading not guilty to all charges. The case was adjourned.
