A BODY has been found in Menorca by police hunting for missing pensioner Richard Riley.
Mr Riley, aged 77, vanished without trace three weeks ago while on holiday on the Spanish island with his family.
Police from Bolton went to break the news to Mr Riley's wife Agnes at the family home in Bury Road, Tonge Fold, last night to prepare them for the worst.
Today the family were waiting for further information from the Foreign Office and the British Consulate in Menorca.
Mr Riley was on holiday in Cala Galdana with his wife, also 77, and their two daughters Jean Knowles and Angela Rothwell, when he vanished three weeks ago.
