WOULD all Teams note that due to unforeseen circumstances Horwich Sports have regrettably withdrawn from the Premier Division with immediate effect, and all their previous results have been deleted.

It is back to league action again with the current Premier Division leaders Hilton Tameside consolidating their position with a 6-3 win against Cricketers which included 3 wins by the unbeaten Darryl Merideth.

Junior Adam Bleakley was in good form for Farnworth scoring 3 wins in their 5-4 win over Wharton.

Nigel Hallows trebled for Rammy B who beat Horwich Hilton 6-3, and Ray Ashley and Steve Stringer won 3 apiece for Lostock who ran out 8-1 winners against bottom team Mosses.

Only two results received from Division One in which early leaders Hilton B scored a 6-3 win on their visit to Heaton A, and Mosses in second spot won a close match at Little Lever 5-4, trebles here for Paul Branwood for Hilton and Andy Kaye for Mosses.

Heaton C's 7-2 win at Rushtons takes them to the top of Division Two one point ahead of their 'D' team and Ramsbotton C, the Heaton win included a treble by Barry Dobbins. Steve Barber trebled for the 'D' team who won 5-4 at Hilton C but, Ramsbottom went down by the same score-line to Little Lever for whom Ian Lansdale trebled. Trebles by Alan Hardman for Ladybridge B and Geoff Hall for Halls in their respective teams wins, and by Duncan Kay and Mel Brooks for Egerton Park who ran out comfortable 8-1 winners against Halliwell Meths.

Hilton F who top Division Three won a very close match at Little Lever 5-4 this was despite a treble by Mark Martin for the losers. Hilton D move into second spot thanks to a resounding 8-1 win against lowly Ellesmere trebles here for Dennis Lomax and Brian Carter. Meadow Hill A scored a 5-4 win against a depleted Ladybridge D, and Alan Cromptons treble proved decisive for Heaton E who scraped home 5-4 at Hilton E. John Birchall trebled for Ladybridge C who lost 5-4 to Hilton H, and John Taylor scored a useful treble for Ramsbottom in their 6-3 win at Hilton G.

YMCA are the current leaders of Division Four following their comprehensive 8-1 win at Ladybridge E trebles here for Jack Quinn and Alan Weall.. Hilton I scored a very good 7-2 win at BEN B to move into second place which included a treble by Alan Revell. Brian Lomax scored 3 wins for Heaton G who beat Ladybridge F 5-4, as did Phil Yates for Meadow Hill C who won by the same score-line at Hilton K. Trebles by Andy Harris for Hilton J who beat their 'L' team 7-2 and Mark Greenhalgh for Heaton F who won 6-3 against Jubilee.
