A BOLTON teacher is facing sex crime charges against a pupil at his school.
Alan Dawson, aged 37, of Astley Bridge, was arrested and questioned in Blackburn yesterday. He was charged with sexual offences towards one of his pupils aged under 18 years.
Dawson has also been suspended from his Blackburn High School. He was released on police bail and will appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police chiefs have confirmed that the alleged victim was a pupil at his school.
