PRESTON boss Craig Brown is keeping a watching brief on Colin Hendry's situation.
The veteran defender, who captained Scotland when Brown was manager, returned to training with Wanderers last week after a protracted absence to be with his wife, Denise, during her recent illness.
He is expected to play in a Wanderers Xl at Bishop Auckland tonight but is believed to have discussed a settlement of his contract.
