Were you there in the thick of the fight? My husband was, for four years, at the age of 19.

Your words suggest that it was quite all right for the Japanese to shoot him, maim and kill our soldiers, but morally wrong and wicked for us to retaliate.

The bombing of our people was also a crime against humanity.
