THROUGHOUT August the Cornerhouse in Manchester will be celebrating TV and film made in and about the North in their season The North In Lights.

This weekend the cinema will be paying particular atention to the Manchester production company Red, who are responsible for such TV gems as Clocking Off, Linda Green and the groundbeaking Queer As Folk.
