WEDNESDAY's prestige friendly against Fiorentina has been called off.
Now Wanderers are trying to fix up new opponents for a much-needed game next week.
The Florence club's financial problems have led to Italy's governing body, the FIGC, blocking the newly-relegated Florence club's Serie B registration and banishing them to a season in Serie C.
Fiorentina's future is now in doubt and all their players are reportedly available on free transfers, including top internationals Nuno Gomes, Angelo Di Livio and Enrico Chiesa.
