THE National Kidney Research Fund has issued a call for all young "heroes" to enter the 2002 Young Hero Awards.
The awards aim to acknowledge the bravery of young people who have to cope and deal with kidney disease either as a patient or a carer. They are open to children aged up to 18 and run until the end of November. Further details from the National Kidney Helpline 0845 3001499.
