PEOPLE are being invited to have a go at a fishing fun day tomorrow (Saturday) on the Ashton Canal in Vesta Street, off Mill Street, Ancoats, Manchester.
Participants will have free use of fishing tackle, and National Federation anglers will be on hand to give essential tips on getting started.
On Sunday there will be a one-day competition for experienced anglers. More details from Steve Griffiths at British Waterways on 01606 723852.
