RANGERS at Pennington Flash Nature Reserve, Leigh, are encouraging bird lovers to visit the area after spotting a rare Canvasback duck in their grounds.
It is rarely found outside North America.
Only last month, the reserve became a temporary home to to a Whiskered Tern bringing visitors from across the country.
