BOLTON Wanderers' fighting spirit in the Premiership last season helped raise £8,000 for the Salvation Army.
The charity had a match day car park at the Heritage Somerfield Group site in Cranfield Road, Lostock, which proved popular with fans travelling to the Reebok Stadium.
All the money raised will go towards caring work in the Bolton area.
Sean Munsie, managing director of Heritage Somerfield, said: "The car park has been a tremendous source of income to The Salvation Army and we have been delighted to help raise these significant funds."
The charity car park will be provided again next season. Car park season tickets are available now priced at £70. They include free parking at all FA Cup and Worthington Cup fixtures.
Darren Cox, of the Salvation Army in Bolton South, said a variety of projects in the Bolton area had benefited.
As further support for the car park charity money-raising project, the Heritage Somerfield Group is donating two VIP match day tickets for a prize draw.
The name of anyone who buys a car park season ticket before the start of the season will be automatically entered into the draw.
