THE Izaak walton Angling Club organised a contest for the Leigh Osprey's Club at Taylor's Hole.
The winner of the senior section was Shaun Keaveney with a great catch of carp and mixed fish of 22lb 4oz. In second place was Danny Martin with 18-12-0 and third was Martin Keaveney with 15-2-0.
But the heaviest catch of the day came from 10-year-old Chris Birchall who won the junior section with an astonishing 23-10-0. Another star performer was Ryan Sinclair (11) who netted 21-12-0. In third place was Neil Hornby with 10-12-0.
