A MAN accused of indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 16 has had his case transferred to the Crown Court.
Bury magistrates heard that John Cardwell, aged 51, of Stockport Road, Ardwick, Manchester, allegedly committed the offence in Bury in April.
He will now appear before the Crown Court for a plea and directions hearing on August 5. Conditional bail was granted.
