SO we've had the football, the tennis, Royal Ascot and the Derby - move over, it's time for 'The Tiger'. If there is one person who is currently dominating their sport, it's Tiger Woods who is currently the best golfer in the world by a long way.

Next week he'll be at Muirfield hoping to win the British Open again? I think his attitude, ability, style and concentration are incredible, in fact almost a case of who'll come second!

Were taking bets on how many shots Tiger will win by:-

4 shots 13/2, 5 shots 8/1, 6 shots 14/1, 7 shots 20/1

And its 7/1 that Tiger will shoot four sub 70 rounds. Now if you are looking for a bit of value why not try two course specialists Nick Faldo the 1992 Open Winner at Muirfield at 66/1 still proving he can be a major force.

Malcolm Mackenzie who back in '92' tied 5th (the last time the event was played at Muirfiled) and has won his first event on the tour this year after '15 years', his confidence will be sky high at a massive 150/1 it could be "Christmas come early".

Tomorrow it's England v India at Lords for the Natwest Series Final. The series has brought a bit of sparkle back to one day cricket and England have acquitted themselves very well. Why not try Ronnie Irani at 8/1 to be top England batsman and Darren Gough (back to his best?) 2/1 to be the top England wicket taker.

It's only five weeks to go before the start of the new season and the only interest so far in the ante-post market has been Cardiff to win Division 1 with one substantial bet of £10,000 at 7/2. Leeds to win the Premier under 'El Tel' 14/1.

But let's be honest - I've more chance of winning the Tour de France than them winning the league.
