A CEREMONY marking the first phase of a new cancer unit at a hospital was taking place today.
A local businesswoman will perform the traditional ceremony of fitting the last piece of roofing to the Blackpool Victoria Hospital building.
Danielle Barnett won the privilege by donating £2,000 to the Macmillan Windmill appeal.
The first patients are expected to be treated at the Macmillan Windmill unit next January.
